What these technologies do
Cookies are small records a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser mechanism that scripts can use to keep data between visits. Session storage lasts for a browser-tab session. Ordinary page memory, by contrast, is temporary state used while a page is running.
The supplied site code
The supplied stylesheet and script do not set cookies, write to local storage or session storage, or load advertising and analytics libraries. The puzzle attempt count, practice score, menu state and generated contact draft are kept in page memory. Reloading the page resets the script’s counters and draft state.
This description is limited to the supplied page code. Hosting, security services or a separately provided consent interface may operate outside it. Any such service should identify its storage purpose and duration in its own notice or controls. This page does not assert an unverified list of provider cookies or a retention period for infrastructure we cannot inspect.
Copying, downloads and browser features
The contact tool writes to the clipboard only when you press “Copy draft” and the browser permits it. A .txt file is created only when you press “Download .txt.” These are user-requested device actions, not cookies. Clipboard history, downloaded files, browser autofill and browser caching may persist according to your browser or operating-system settings.
Clearing website storage does not necessarily erase a file in your Downloads folder, an email draft or a system clipboard history entry. Manage those copies through the relevant application.
Your controls
Most browsers allow you to inspect and clear cookies and site data, restrict third-party storage and adjust autofill. Names and locations of these controls vary. Blocking JavaScript disables automated checks and draft generation, but the written problems and native hint reveals remain usable.
Where a separately supplied consent control is present, use its settings to manage the optional technologies it identifies. A consent choice does not change your browser’s own cache or download behavior. We do not treat an ordinary puzzle interaction as permission for unrelated tracking.

For a storage question, email [email protected] and identify the page and browser behavior you observed. Do not include sensitive identifiers. See Privacy for correspondence and hosting information, and Terms for website-use conditions.
